Chad Raines works world-wide as a Sound Designer and Composer for Theater and Medias. Award winning NYC based directors and designers such as Rachel Chavkin, Lileana Blain-Cruz, Robin Frohardt, Robert Woodruff, Eugene Ma, Fault Line Theater and many others have employed him for music works. There is also the problem of performance that he solves with messy grace. He has shared the stage and bills with David Byrne, Amanda Palmer, White Denim, Weasel Walter, Ra Ra Riot, Quintron and Miss Pussycat and many others that he can’t remember at this moment. He sometimes performs in his own group “The Simple Pleasure” – mostly for his own enjoyment. He somehow survived growing up in Dallas, TX.
